Description

All the decorative cushions in our menagerie are lovingly created using materials which may otherwise go to landfill, either from our own commissions here at Hilda’s, or from our suppliers.

Each animal is entirely bespoke and carefully handmade, with patchworked fabrics and crumble foam fillings which are left as a byproduct of the foam industry, direct from our wholesalers.

These are not designed as toys, and like all lions, elephants and giant tortoises, not suitable as children’s playthings! They do, however, make excellent guards for beds or sofas, and the tortoise lends itself rather excellently as a footstool!

Delivery costs are £6.95 for mainland UK delivery on all cushions, and are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. We post all non-furniture items within 2 working days of purchase. Should any item arrived damaged, please let us know within 48 hours. In our bid to be as environmentally mindful as possible, we endeavour to use recycled, recyclable or repurposed packaging.

Furniture

All items big or small, can be collected from our workshop in central Portsmouth, but do please email us first to arrange this! Alternatively, we are happy to arrange courier delivery within the UK. Please email us first to discuss this, with details including your postcode, how many flights of stairs are involved, and which item you are interested in, and we can give you a delivery quote.

In the name of keeping courier costs affordable, this will be a one-person delivery, so if it’s a particularly large item, it may be necessary for you to assist in moving it into your space. Customers are responsible for ensuring their item can be delivered into their space with ease, so do please be conscious of the item’s dimensions and whether it will fit in your space!

Refunds & Exchanges 

Your rights regarding refunds and exchanges: According to our policies, you have the right to request a refund or exchange within 14 days of the sale. We would request that you contact us via email first, before returning an item, and confirmation of a return must be acquired in order to process a refund or exchange. However, please note that return shipping and insurance costs are your responsibility. We kindly ask you to carefully package the item and ensure it is safely returned to us. Once we receive the item in its original condition, we will process your refund or exchange using the original payment method promptly.
